Jody Grutza

Jody Grutza, MSW specializes in strategic planning, facilitation, policy development and project management.  Through her unique national experience with states, localities, community-based organizations and providers, she supports organizations as they reframe their business models to align with the Family First Prevention Services Act (FFPSA). Jody also serves as the lead consultant and project principal for GPS Consulting Group’s Family First Strategy and Implementation Support Team.

Jennifer Behnam, MSW specializes in the innovative development and implementation of prevention services.  She brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to support community-based organizations in transforming programs and services through a trauma informed lens that focuses on the importance of relationships and holistic healing with individuals, families and communities.

BRITE Consulting Services partners with non-profits and government entities to secure funding for new and existing programs and offers training and consultation in improving state child welfare systems.

Nicole Truhe, MPA supports community-based organizations in understanding and navigating the processes that influence implementation of the Family First Prevention Services Act (FFSPA). She is a critical resource on understanding the evidence-based provisions of FFSPA and the national policy movement surrounding Federal legislation. Finally, Nicole’s work in both child welfare, mental health and Medicaid enables her to support organizations looking to leverage across systems to better serve vulnerable children and their families.

He is an expert on transitioning residential programs to best provide for the children and families they serve. Andrew also brings expertise in attracting both public and private funding for practice and policy implementation.

Kali Scolnick, MSW guides states, counties, organizations and national institutions in building competency and capacity in child welfare, intercultural communication, education, and social justice. Kali does this through her expertise in coaching, facilitation, strategic planning, visioning, training and curriculum design. Kali’s understanding of the Family First Prevention Services Act (FFSPA) impact to radically transform child welfare and improve outcomes for children and their families centers her work on children and family wellbeing with particular emphasis on the role culture, race and identity plays in prevention.

Dr. Elizabeth Wynter

Dr. Elizabeth Wynter is a highly experienced professional with over 20 years of leadership in the child welfare system. Wynter specializes in strategic planning, change management, research-based solutions, policy development, program design, implementation science, and lived experience co-design.

Throughout her career, Dr. Wynter has focused on community-based care, residential care, legislative affairs, media, and community relations, as well as permanency and independent living. Her work in these areas has made her an award-winning, recognized national thought leader, particularly in the field of transitioning youth.

Dr. Wynter has dedicated her efforts to improving outcomes for vulnerable children and youth, leveraging her extensive knowledge and skills to shape effective strategies and policies. Her work emphasizes the importance of research, evidence-based practices, and involving the lived experiences of those impacted by child welfare systems.
